The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta's Henry Fund was established in 1992 to help individuals, corporations and foundations respond to the charitable needs of Henry County residents.
Through a variety of funds and giving options, we can help donors fulfill their charitable intentions and leave a lasting legacy for the benefit of our community. The Henry Fund offers convenience and expertise for those who wish to make charitable contributions to nonprofit organizations in and around the Henry area.
Our goals include:
- promoting visionary philanthropy
- building and preserving a collection of endowment funds and
- distributing funds to nonprofit organizations that serve Henry County residents.
What programs do we support?
Qualified nonprofit organizations in Henry County
can apply for grants from The Community Foundation’s Common Good Funds (formerly Competitive
Grants Program). Grants awarded from these funds support organizations
working in the following areas:
- Arts
- Civic Affairs
- Community Development

- Human Resources

Who can establish a fund?
Anyone with an interest in providing for the present and future needs of the residents of Henry County can establish a fund or make a contribution to our local unrestricted fund.
