Morgan Thomas Scholarship Fund

Purpose

Established by the Metro Kiwanis Club to perpetuate the name and ideals of Mr. Morgan Thomas

Eligibility Criteria:

• U.S. citizenship
• Legal resident of Cobb County for at least six (6) months prior to application
• Enrolled in or accepted to a post-secondary institution in the United States to pursue an Associate or Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 2.5 GPA for high school course work in Grades 10, 11 and 12
• Preference shown for students achieving 3.0-3.5 GPA
• Previous recipients are encouraged to reapply, but must obtain and submit the current year's application form. Previous recipients are not guaranteed additional awards.

When are scholarship awards announced?

Decision letters are usually mailed to applicants during the last two weeks of June.
