The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta

Technical Assistance Program

Program Description

The Technical Assistance program provides organizations that have previously received competitive grants from The Community Foundation with tools to strengthen their management, governance or operations. Not a financial grant, technical assistance is a custom-designed package of professional resources or services to help the recipient respond to a key organizational challenge or opportunity.

Technical Assistance recipients work with a specialist at the Georgia Center for Nonprofits who will construct a package of appropriate organizational assistance. The specialist oversees the grant and delivery of professional services to ensure the organization's stated outcome will be reached within the designated time frame.

Each year, The Community Foundation awards an average of $100,000 in Technical Assistance Grants.
