The Arts Loan Fund Program
The Arts Loan Fund was established in direct response to the immediate cash
flow needs that many of metropolitan Atlantas small and mid-sized arts organizations
experience on a regular basis. Organizations may apply for loans up
to $25,000. The program functions under the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund,
an arts funding arm of The Community Foundation. The Arts Loan Fund accepts
applications from small to mid-sized arts organizations with annual operating
budgets under $1.5 million located in the 23-county area served by The Community
Foundation.
Organizations must have had 501(c)(3) status for three years, have at least
one full time paid staff person, and pay artists and performers associated with
programming.
Loan applications may be submitted at any time. The administrators of the Arts
Loan Fund and the advisory committee will make every attempt to make a decision
on the loan within two weeks of receipt of a complete loan package. The Arts
Loan Fund is governed by an advisory committee. For more information about the
Arts Loan Fund call Sandy Kring at 404-526-1130, visit www.MetroAtlantaArtsFund.org,
